Event Description

Flavor: Making It and Faking It is the debut exhibition of MOFAD Lab, the highly anticipated exhibit design studio of the Museum of Food and Drink. Flavor is a tasting and smelling adventure that provokes the senses, reveals a critically important part of the food industry, and raises questions about what "natural" and "artificial" really mean.

"This is an exhibition that is not just hands-on,
but tongue-on and nostrils-on."
- The New York Times

Walk-ins are welcome but advance reservation is recommended to guarantee entry. Purchase your tickets today or become a MOFAD member and receive exclusive benefits. Your tax-deductible support as a member helps sustain the Museum of Food and Drink as it works toward opening a large-scale museum that shows people how exciting it is to learn about food.

Tickets are for two-hour time slots. We ask only that you arrive during this time – you are welcome to stay as long as you would like. If you purchase tickets for the last time slot of the day, we recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before closing. A typical visit to MOFAD Lab can be as short as 30 minutes, or as long as two hours.

If you would like to sign up for a MOFAD membership without picking a time slot, visit membership.mofad.org.

"The exhibit blends high-tech and old school gadgets
to present an interactive flavor experience,
through smell, taste and touch."
Mashable

Note: If you sign up for a Root membership or above, you will have the option of applying your guest passes to your reservation at checkout.
