The Hard Rock Cafe is pleased to welcome MJ ULTRA for his homecoming show to celebrate the release of his debut album "Ocean Drive" on Sunday, August 28 at 8 PM.  Join MJ will be special guests JESSE MADER and REAL DEAL.  Tickets for this over 21 show are $10 general admission - under 21 guests will be permitted with parent only.

ABOUT MJ ULTRA

Pittsburgh-bred, LA-based singer/songwriter MJ Ultra premieres his soul-laden independent album, “Ocean Drive”. The music serves as a narrative for his long, yet inspired journey from Pittsburgh’s Southside to Los Angeles’ competitive music scene.

Alongside his producer Travis Margis and his longtime band, MJ seamlessly marries soulful vocals, engaging lyrics, and catchy pop elements to which, publicist Sera Roadknight, describes as a “brilliant vocal performance that flutters in cohesive harmony with effervescent instrumentation…”

MJ first found national acclaim when he wrote and recorded a hip-hop remix of “New York, New York” for the Justin Timerlake blockbuster, Friends With Benefits, which would go on to be twice featured on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and NBC’s America’s Got Talent. He’d follow that up with a remix to Neil Diamond’s “Holy Holly” for the Kevin James comedy, Here Comes the Boom.

He has written and performed with some of the industry’s biggest, including Thirty Seconds to Mars (on The Ellen DeGenerous Show), Ruben Studdard, El DeBarge, Chali Tuna, and Eddie Griffin. Most recently he headlined the Boogaloo Music Festival in California.
