Miler and The Other Sinners

Born and raised outside of Buffalo, NY, David Michael Miller has made a mark world wide with his last two independent solo albums, Poisons Sipped and Same Soil.  David blends roots music genres of blues, gospel, americana, rock and r&b into a style some have called “southern soul”.  Know for his heart-felt songwriting, powerful vocals and guitar playing, David brings energy and passion into each performance, telling stories about the songs that draws listeners into the music in a unique way.  David has received several regional awards for his talent as well as being honored to share the stage with such acts as Tedeschi Trucks, Gary Clark Jr, The Steve Miller Band, Jony Lang and many more.

In his latest album effort, Same Soil, David teamed up with Mike Brown, grammy nominated producer, to create an old school blues/americana album, utilizing mostly pre-World War 2 instruments and old recording techniques.  After its release July 1st, Same Soil debuted at #11 on the Roots Music Report and has been in the top 15 Blues albums for the past 12 weeks straight.  He is being played, reviewed and interviewed all over the world and has begin national touring in support of this new independent record with his band Miller and The Other Sinners.  Accompanied by Buddy Guy’s former sax player of 10 years, Jay Moynihan and a dynamic rhythm section, the band delivers a powerful performance highlighting Miller’s songs as well as astounding improvisation.

This crew from Denver, CO pulls inspiration from each of their personal genre influences and brings it to the table to create the intertwining and captivating sound that they call home. Soul, rock, jazz, hip-hop, classical - it’s in there somewhere. Mama Magnolia finds a way to sneak it in. They create music to make your body move and your brain think, but mostly, they give you the gift of music. Every show, every event, every gathering of any kind is a family gathering with Mama Magnolia - and the kitchen is full of music, dancing, singing and making noise from the rooftops!

The majority of Mama Magnolia met in music school and played in a variety of musical settings - from big bands to Indian dance class. Then singer, Megan Letts, brought forth the proposition of going steady with this stellar group of humans and musicians. "There was something magical about when the six of us plugged in and played for the first time. No. It was just magic," recalls Megan. And they took that magic and ran.

After their first west coast tour and release of their debut album, Something About Fire, Mama Magnolia is continuing to compose brand new inspiring & driving music while hitting the road and sharing their music with the rest of the world!
