Mike Stern Live at The Sanctuary

The Guitar Sanctuary are proud to present Mike Stern Live at The Sanctuary Music & Events Center on Friday November 14th at 8pm (Doors open at 7) with special guests Gabby Byrd & Pete Weise.

To a generation of contemporary jazz guitar aficionados, Mike Stern is regarded as one of the true guitar greats of his generation. A player of remarkable facility whose searing lines are informed mainly by bebop and the blues while also carrying a rock-tinged intensity, Stern made his mark with Miles Davis in the early ‘80s before launching his solo career in 1985. Since then he has released 17 recordings as a leader, six of which were nominated for GRAMMY® Awards. His latest recording, Echoes and Other Songs (Mack Avenue/Artistry), features an All-star cast including, Dennis Chambers,  Antonio Sanchez, Christian McBride, Richard Bona, Chris Potter, Bob Franceschini, and Leni Stern.

Mike's band for the evening will feature Leni Stern on Guitar,  Bob Franceschini on Sax, Jimmy Haslip on Bass, and Steve Pruitt on drums.

Tables including Admission and Seating for 4 People Downstairs and on the Upstairs Balcony are $200 (SEE SEATING CHART).

Individual seats at select Downstairs Tables on the back row (SHARED SEATING) are $50 (SEE SEATING CHART).

Standing Tickets on the Upstairs Balcony behind the Tables (NO SEATS) are $35.

Please Note:  Seating Chart Layout Subject to Change, Balcony seating is ONLY accessible via Stairs.

We'll have full Bar and Food Service available from our friends at Zin Zen Wine Bistro.
