It's a luxury retreat in upstate New York with all the amenities. The highest quality organic meals, personal trainers, and daily spa treatments: all free of charge. In fact, women are paid incredible sums to stay for months at a time. The only catch is that they can't leave, their movements are monitored, and they are cut off from outside contact while they make the perfect baby for someone else.
Jane is an immigrant from the Philippines and in search of a better life when she commits to being a "Host" at the "Farm," as residents call it. But she becomes torn between life inside and outside, her past and her dreams of the future.
