This concert is a Record Release Party for Mick and the band's DEBUT album, A SURE CURE FOR THE BLUES! It is a live album, recorded in Sacramento in March of this year.

Sacramento blues legend/ harmonica-player/singer Mick Martin leads his horn-powered, original music group featuring Danny Sandoval (sax), Aj Joyce (bass), Andrew Little (guitar), Dave Johnson (trumpet/trombone), Mike Caselli (Hammond organ/piano)and Jim Caselli (drums). On this special night, we are thrilled to have the powerful and legendary Bay Area singer Annie Sampson (Stoneground, Elvin Bishop, Steve Miller, Jerry Garcia, The Blues Broads) AND Sacramento's own blues/soul singer, Pinkie Rideau (who is featured on the new album!), plus saxman Danny Sandoval's 18-year old son, Andres.
