NATURE DETECTIVES CAMP Monarchs, Milkweed and Mexico
Come explore the life of the monarch butterfly from its start as a tiny egg, to its 2,000-mile journey to the mountains of Mexico. We’ll investigate all life stages of the monarch and the habitats in which it lives. And we’ll explore some Mexican culture and the relationship between monarchs and the Mexican region where the butterflies overwinter. Plus, other butterfly, moth and caterpillar species, as well as other animal co-habitants, will be examined throughout the week. Activities include outdoor exploration, experiments, stories, arts & crafts, cultural studies, games, and puppet shows.
