For Immediate Release: The Best in Amateur Boxing Return to DuBois, PA
The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League (WPAL) and TEAM 814 are excited to announce the return of live amateur boxing to the DuBois Country Club with this year’s feature event: Mayhem in March.
This year’s event will highlight local prospects from TEAM 814 who train at the WPAL Fitness Center on East Long Avenue, showcasing the hard work and dedication of young athletes from right here in our community. In addition to our hometown talent, the card will feature rising amateur boxers from across the Northeastern region. Fighters from Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio have been invited to compete.
The DuBois Country Club, located at 10 Lakeside Ave, DuBois, PA, will host the action on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with fights beginning at 7:00 p.m.
WPAL Executive Director Aaron Beatty shared, “This event is about more than just fights—it’s about opportunity,” said WPAL Executive Director Aaron Beatty. “After a long road to get here, we’re excited to once again host an event that supports our mission of helping youth grow through discipline, sport, and competition.”
