The End of America

The End of America is not some grand political statement. It is a band of friends, singers, and travelers. Blending three part harmony with rock and americana, the Philadelphia based trio achieves a style that resonates with fans of Ryan Adams as well as Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young.

Since their inception in 2010, The End of America has recorded and released two EPs and a single, performed at festivals including SXSW, Savannah Stopover, Baltimore Folk Fest, and has performed with the likes of Beck, Anthony Green, Gary Louris of The Jayhawks, and Rocky Votolato.

Brendon Thomas, James Downes, and Trevor Leonard met on tour years prior. All frontmen of previous bands, they formed a trio that would highlight their unique ability to harmonize, and subsequently capture the musical moments they created in the most undressed method possible. Both of their albums Steep Bay and Shakey were recorded live within a few takes: the first in a cabin on battery power, the second in studio to 2-inch tape.
"These three cats blend their voices as effortlessly as Crosby, Stills and Nash. [Steep Bay] is a deeply organic, beautiful album. And the whole thing was written and recorded in 7 days."

In February 2013, The End of America was invited to perform at Beck's "Song Reader" sheet music album release show in Los Angeles. Beck discovered TEOA by way of a Youtube video performing one of his new songs, and flew them out the following week. The band's performance received applause from Spin Magazine, Filter, and Hollywood Reporter. See TEOA's rendition of "Please Leave a Light On When You Go" by Beck, here.

TEOA has been in the studio most of 2015 recording their debut full length.

The Speedbumps

The Speedbumps are an award-winning American band with a warm, authentic sound, built on a passion for hollow-bodied instruments, indie-folk influences, and singer-songwriter Erik Urycki’s breathy, commanding vocals and canny phrasing.

The band’s roots lie deep in the Rustbelt, where quiet strength and limited embellishment define the culture. The working class towns around Akron, the former rubber capital, from which artists like The Black Keys, Jessica Lea Mayfield, and Joseph Arthur have emerged, have provided the band with an aesthetic that seeks to tease out beauty from the gritty details of everyday life.

The band consists of Erik Urycki on vocals and guitar, Abby Luri on vocals, guitar, banjo and keys, Sam Kristoff playing cello -- often where you’d expect a guitar riff, Kevin Martinez on acoustic and electric bass, and two members on drums and percussion, Pat Hawkins and Danny Jenkins. In addition to her ethereal vocals, Luri is also a songwriter and has co-written several of the band’s tunes.

The Speedbumps have won IMA and AMA awards and performed with artists including Andrew Bird, G-Love and OKGO. Daryl Rowland, writing for the Huffington Post, said that singer Erik Urycki’s lyrics “often tackle complex human emotions with elegant economy.”

While the band cites influences from Paul Simon to Nick Drake to Radiohead, their material and vibe have more in common with festival favorites like The Decemberists, Wilco, Ryan Adams or Mumford & Sons, with their consistently smart, spare and rootsy approach.

Their latest album, “Soil to the Seed,” was recorded in a remote cabin in the woods of Pennsylvania, where the band lived together, writing songs and laying down tracks at all hours. The resulting recording reflects that total emersion. As with seminal house-based recordings like The Band’s “Music from Big Pink,” the songs have an effortless unity.

The Speedbumps’ unique live shows include instruments like Cello, Banjo, Ukulele, Wurlitzer, Glockenspiel, Vibraslap and Mandolin. On several occasions, the band has performed with a 40 piece symphony orchestra, featuring arrangements written by bass player, Kevin Martinez, who holds a degree in Music Theory and Composition.

The Speedbumps winning combination of thought-provoking singer-songwriter material and high-caliber musicianship have earned the band a large and loyal fan base in the Northeast and Midwest. With the May 5th release of the their new album, the band will be touring United States and abroad, sharing their new songs and soaking up the world to feed the next batch of tunes.

Ghost of Paul Revere

Born on the banks of the Saco River, brothers in all but name, the Ghost of Paul Revere is Maine's holler-folk band. With a sound built around powerful three-part harmonies, energetic performances, and a non-traditional way of interpreting traditional American music, their songs have unique identities while still remaining undeniably the Ghost of Paul Revere. They use a masterful combination of melody and energy, somewhere between folk and foot-stomping bluegrass, that has already given Ghost shows legendary status. Fans have traveled vast distances from the most remote corners of the country to catch the band as they make an increasingly bigger mark on the scene.

The Ghost was formed around childhood friends Max Davis, Sean McCarthy, and Griffin Sherry. They put the Ghost of Paul Revere together in 2011 with Matt Young. In that short time they have played across the Nation, bringing holler-folk into houses, bars, and music halls. They have shared the stage with Brown Bird, Spirit Family Reunion, Sean Hoots, Will Dailey, Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear, and other nationally touring acts. Their critically acclaimed debut EP, "North", released in the summer of 2012, quickly became one of the best selling local albums in Maine and New Hampshire for 2013. Their first full length album,  "Believe", was recorded live with Jonathan Wyman at Halo Studios and, when released in January 2014, it quickly went on to hit the Billboard Northeast chart. It was the best selling local album in Maine and New Hampshire for 10 months straight and continues to be in the top five more than a year later. The Ghost of Paul Revere has since sold out Port City Music Hall, Stone Mountain Arts Center, and the Strand Theater several times, won Best In Maine at the 2014 New England Music Awards, and were an official showcase artist at Folk Alliance International 2015 and made their Newport Folk Festival debut in 2015. In 2014, the Ghost of Paul Revere also started their own two day music festival, Ghostland, which will return for its second year in the fall of 2016.

"Robustly played, masterful amalgamation of bluegrass, folk, and gospel for the Millennial Generation... The Ghost of Paul Revere prove that superior roots music can come from anywhere." - No Depression

"Simply put, this band is one to see live... A gorgeous blend of bluegrass, folk and good old fashioned rock and roll... their performance takes on a boot-clacking brilliance that transforms each song into a full-on participatory event, sending an electric surge about the room that’s near impossible not to feel. Add to that a layered three part harmony coursing through each soulful song, and The Ghost of Paul Revere demonstrated they not only had the chops, but the heart to reach their audience and leave an undeniable impression as well. As the floorboards shook with each pounding stomp, one thing was certain: the band announced they had arrived, loud and clear." - Dispatch Magazine

"Simply put North is an album that shouldn't be missed. (It will) make even the most callous of individuals feel the unbridled joy of Holler-Folk." - Ear to the Ground Music

"A distinguished sound that only seasoned musicians can usually attain" - Portland Press Herald

"(The Ghost of Paul Revere) stole the show. I was so impressed with them. Their harmonies, stomping percussion, and vocal power were stellar... their songs progressed from mellow to powerhouse... their harmonies are superb and their songs have power." - whatbreesees.com
