Event Description
MoMA presents Massacre: Variations on a Theme, a major new performance commission by Alexandra Bachzetsis. Comprising choreography for three dancers, a musical composition for two pianos, and video elements, Bachzetsis’s evening-length performance investigates the persistence of popular rituals with a physical and visual vocabulary drawn from classic Northern Soul, Techno dancing, and other traditions.
