BGC MALIBU CHILI COOK OFF 2021

The 39^th annual Malibu Chili Cook-off will take place on Labor Day Weekend 2021. The event is hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu, 501©3 95-4774844. It is a legendary, community inspired event that EVERYONE in Malibu attends.  It is a weekend full of music, food, drink, amusement, artisans, friends and family.  This year, Malibu and surrounding areas will come together to celebrate the end of summer and to support community.

Festival Hours of Operation:
Friday Sept 3:  4p – 10p (Locals Night)
Saturday Sept 4: 1pm – 10p – CHILI COMPETITION
Sunday Sept 5: 1pm – 10p
Monday Sept 6: 1pm – 8p

*The health and safety of our visitors, employees, vendors, and volunteers is our number #1 priority. All attendees are required to wear a mask. We encourage all attendees to social distance and be mindful of best hygiene practices.

Please Keep In Mind:

• Kids 5 & under are FREE


• No commercial photography is allowed without a credential. Only iPhone cameras are permitted. Camcorders or any other audio/visual equipment is prohibited.Specifically, the following equipment is not permitted: telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind, interchangeable lenses of any kind, monopods, or tripods or flash equipment of any kind. The Event will not house equipment, do not bring on site if you have not been appointed an Event Media Credential. Malibu Chili Cook Off media officials must clear all wireless equipment.


• Tickets will NOT be sold on site. 


• Event parking is CASH ONLY, $20. Parking is limited.


• Event terrain is poor for strollers, however, we will have an area for stroller parking.


• Guests who purchase a ticket and do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. 


• There are strictly no cancellations or refunds, and tickets are not transferable. Should the Event be cancelled by the Event, all ticket holders will receive a refund.

COVID SAFETY
Our COVID rules and protocols will evolve to follow local, State, and CDC guidance. Currently, our policy is:

- All individuals are required to wear a mask (unless actively eating or drinking)
- Avoid overcrowding small unventilated areas throughout the venue, especially near/in bathrooms
- Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and sanitize as often as possible
- Avoid touching your mask, eyes, nose, and mouth with unclean hands
- Use hand sanitizer as often as appropriate
- Please practice social distancing 
- Stay home and away from others if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
• Cough
• Fever or Chills
• Runny Nose
• Shortness of Breath
• Difficulties Breathing
• Dizziness
• Fatigue
• Muscle or Body Aches
• Headache
• Sore Throat
• Nausea or Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Loss of Taste or Smell

By entering the premises, you irrevocably consent to and authorize Boys & Girls Club of Malibu, its affiliates, successors, and assigns (collectively “BGCM”), to photograph you, make video or sound recordings of you, and use such photographs and recordings throughout the world, for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity, including, but not limited to, television broadcasts, photos, press, promotional materials, etc. All such photographs, video, and sound recordings will be the sole property of BGCM.
