ABOUT THE SHOW

Welcome to the Gold Key Speakeasy in the heart of Magnolia City. Club owners Whiskey Lou and JoJo have the hottest spot in town, the who’s who of Houston are there as drama ensues. What drama you ask? Well, somebody is scheming and the joint’s losing cash fast, JoJo’s two-timing ways are about to catch up to him, the guests are sharing plates, and the bookies are getting restless. Throw in wannabe crooner Police Chief Wright, the fiercely ferocious Antoinette, a not-so-secret love triangle, mixed with more than enough suspicion and spirits... nothing good can come of this night! Needless to say, somebody has had enough and JoJo is about to get what’s coming to him. Who will it be?

Get ready for night of music, mayhem and mystery at MAGNOLIA CITY! You are a part of the story as it unfolds, and will pick up clues throughout the night. Will you be the first to discover who done it?

Prohibition House Rules

• All Sales Final. There are no refunds, reschedules, or moves.  As most shows are sold out, we won’t be able to swap your seats.


• There is a $32 per person buffet requirement to attend this event, payable at the end of the show.


• Dress code is semi-formal/formal and is strictly enforced. Guests arriving in jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, tennis shoes, shorts, athletic wear, work boots, baseball caps or excessively baggy clothing will be refused entry to the Theatre. Dress shorts are permitted. 1920’s themed attire is encouraged.


• Arrive 15 minutes early to get checked in. Doors will open at 6:00pm and you will be escorted to the first scene. 20 minutes after showtime, your ticket is eligible for resale if you have not arrived and we have not received a phone call.


• Print your tickets or have them ready to present on your phone. No entry without tickets. Check-in will be at the box office located directly to the right of Prohibition. You will be escorted to the theatre when your table is ready.


• Tables cannot be pushed together. Space is limited, so be mindful of your neighbors.


• Photography is not permitted in the theatre.


• Birthday cakes, balloons and glitter are not allowed.
