Mad River Theatre Works-The Jackie Robinson Story

Mad River Theater Works is excited to present two special performances of it's celebrated original play with music Everybody's Hero: The Jackie Robinson Story.  This production depicts the life and times of legendary baseball hall of Famer Jackie Robinson and the racial prejudices he came up amidst.  In the telling of his life's story, audiences gain valuable insights in to the ways that Robinson was a progressive member of the Civil Right Movement and, in the words of Branch Rickey, how he mustered the "guts not to fight back".
