Mac McRoy & The South Point Band

Mac McRoy and The South Point Band play traditional bluegrass gospel music as they give praise to God. Mac took a break from a busy and successful 24-year career of performing bluegrass in Eastern North Carolina at special events, festivals, and on radio and TV. He even played with local musicians around Oriental and New Bern, performing on The Old Theater stage in the early 2000's. He and his band are back on the circuit playing for folks. He is well known for his song writing and high lonesome sound. He and his wife Mary have wondrous stories to tell and give all the praise for their life experiences and talents to God. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon listening to gospel music and bluegrass. Praiseworthy indeed!
