Tom the Ultimate Documentary Screening

Tom the Ultimate is a documentary created by Westmoreland County Community College Associate in Fine Arts student Maria Coughanour for an honors seminar class project. For this project, she combined observational documentary and interview to express portraiture in an alternative medium.

Tom Chromeck is an alumnus from Westmoreland County Community College and possibly an overlooked genius. He has completed over 300 credits in varying fields and has consistently demonstrated high performance and passion for education. Maria's biographical documentary gives a glimpse into Tom's unconventional life and how he navigated around the conventional pattern of college education. It also explores his experiences with education and cultural stigmas as well as his relationships with both art and science.
