The Night Shift welcomes Dutch underground selector Julian Anthony for a special vinyl-only night on February 7th! Fuse London and PIV standout producer Julian Anthony comes from the Netherlands with a bag of his records for a special night in the Cobra booth. With support by heavyweights like Jamie Jones, Enzo Siragusa, Chris Stussy and Djoko, and playing some of the biggest clubs in Europe, he starts his US dominance next after playing for our friends at Raw Cuts in NYC last fall. Get ready for a proper journey through wax from one of America's most talented up-and-coming DJs.

Getting the night groovin' are Pittsburgh local's C.Scott and Dini Daddy bringing us some of their finest records from their collections and playing special house sets for the occasion. We're excited to put this lineup together under the Cobra disco ball.

Julian Anthony is a respected part of the Dutch underground house scene. He was inspired and was taught to play vinyl by Slapfunk’s Samuel Deep and Julian Alexander. After dropping big tunes on Beeyou, PIV and WE_r House, the international crowd are well aware of his presence. Backed by absolute heavyweights like, Jamie Jones, Enzo Siragusa, Ingi Visions, Chris Stussy and Djoko and with an abundance of talent, Julian is ready to take the world by storm. The young artist started his music career, sporting his iconic afro, as a drummer. He has always been inspired by the magic that happens when the drums and basslines meet. House music was the logical next chapter. After learning to spin vinyl from his Slapfunk sensei’s he went from booking to booking with DJs requesting him to open for them. He was soon sharing line ups with Prunk, Chris Stussy, Gene On Earth, Samuel Deep and Leopol in renowned clubs such as Thuishaven, BRET Amsterdam, Shelter Amsterdam, Sisyphos Berlin and 93 Feet East London. 2020 was a year full of international bookings for Julian until Covid-19 hit. With many new releases coming up such as Beeyou and a remix on PIV Limited, you can be sure to see him everywhere soon.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.

Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
