Cobra | Bloomfield | Ages 21+
Friday, March 13th come enjoy a night of homegrown heat at Cobra. Good Sweat and Rojo take the reins for a proper showcase of Pittsburgh's underground, filling the room with house, breaks, disco, and beyond. Joining them will be DJ Sun Fire and Steve Knots making their return to the Cobra booth. Both are phenomenal producers and have played live sets for us before jumping on the decks to DJ one last time for us at Cobra. Unionize was built to spotlight the talent right here in our city, and this lineup delivers.
A union is a club, society, or association formed by people with a common interest or purpose. It's an organization formed by workers who join together and use their strength to have a voice in their workplace. Our union is for creators and fans of underground house & techno music in Pittsburgh coming together for a common cause on the Cobra dance floor. It's a place where we can bring back artists who have played for us in years past and showcase new artists in our organization yet to be discovered by our audience.
Consider this your standing invite. Clock into the weekend: Cobra Lounge, every Friday and Saturday in March.
Good Sweat | PGH
Good Sweat was born and raised in Pittsburgh and began DJing at open format parties in North Carolina - but he came into his own as a house DJ in New York City and is now based in Pittsburgh, PA. In just a few short years he's played at well-known Manhattan and Brooklyn venues such as Good Room, Secret Loft, TBA Brooklyn, The Paper Box, Gitano, and Hotel Chantelle as well as at Spirit and the Gymnasium in Pittsburgh.
His sets are eclectic, often swinging across several genres in the span of just an hour or two - but they're always held together by the thread of Good Sweat's signature psychedelic sound and his ability to integrate such diverse sounds into a single story.

Longturn Music welcomes everybody and has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, unwelcome physical contact, or any brand of bigoted behavior. If anyone at a Longturn event is making you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or if you witness anything of the sort, we encourage you to speak with the door staff or our team members. We'll believe you, and we'll help.
In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
Come early, stay late, dance hard ⚒️
