Cobra | Bloomfield | Ages 21+
The Night Shift presents Italian born, Berlin based electronic innovator CIOZ on October 4th! The Bergamo-based artist brings his "smoothly random and organic" sound to Pittsburgh, blending experimental electronic textures with dance-ready grooves. As the founder of Knobs Bergamo, a creative hub where artists unite and collaborate, Cioz embodies the spirit of musical rebellion and community that drives underground electronic music. CIOZ’s EPs have landed on lauded labels like Crosstown Rebels, Monaberry or Frau Blau, Get Physical, and Stil Vor Talent. His remix work speaks volumes, too, as reinterpretations for heavyweights Diplo, Damian Lazarus, Oliver Koletzki, Patrice Bäumel, and Gui Boratto always convey CIOZ’s distinctive touch. With support from heavyweights like Super Flu, Andhim, Einmusik, and Solomun, this self-taught sound sculptor promises an evening of evolving, breathing music.
Getting the evening started will be DeepV making his Longturn debut and DJ Sun Fire performing a very special live set perfectly fitting for Cioz's trippy melodic grooves. This is the perfect way to start off fall with one of Berlin's finest melodic producers on the Void soundsystem.
Consider this your standing invite. Clock into the weekend: Cobra Lounge, every Saturday.
CIOZ | Get Physical / Stil Vor Talent | Italy / Berlin
Bergamo-born and Berlin-based CIOZ is the real deal: His music is bubbling with life and rich in intrinsic musicality as he pours his heart and soul into the creative process, unafraid to break with convention.
In the studio, this inimitable style holds its own. CIOZ’s EPs have landed on lauded labels like Crosstown Rebels, Monaberry or Frau Blau, while his contribution to the legendary “Body Language” series by Get Physical and his full-length album “Supermassive Whole” on home-base Stil vor Talent are testament to his artistic depth. His remix work speaks volumes, too, as reinterpretations for heavyweights Diplo, Damian Lazarus, Oliver Koletzki, Patrice Bäumel, and Gui Boratto always transport CIOZ’s distinctive touch – at once respectful of the originals, yet characterized by his very own vision and playful personality. Traits that are equally valued by a range of collaborators like Giorgia Angiuli, Super Flu or Fabian Krooss.
In the booth, CIOZ’s diverse DJ sets shine just as brightly as his productions do: From the magical cosmos that’s Fusion Festival and the dusty plains of AfrikaBurn to standout clubs across the globe, CIOZ has brought his infectious energy to institutions like Bar Americas in Guadalajara, Stereo Bar in Montreal, Klein in Istanbul, Mia in Tulum, or Hive in Zurich. His reach doesn’t stop there though, with multiple tours across Asia, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand under his belt.
What’s next, you may ask? Don’t worry as one thing’s for sure: A boundless array of innovative ideas, the razor-sharp skillset to match them and, most importantly, a deeply positive approach to creativity mean that CIOZ has plenty of surprises up his sleeve.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
