Event Description
Longturn Presents: Charles Meyer

Cobra | Bloomfield | Ages 21+

We kick off our November weekly lineup on the 2nd of the month with a rising minimal & tech house artist hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Charles Meyer! Charles was born and raised in LA, but has lived in Brooklyn for the past 10 years. He has played all over the country and even overseas in the UK. His minimal yet crunchy basslines and techy grooves have garnered support from some of the biggest DJs like Gordo, CID, and Ghettoblaster. Charles is a soon to be label boss with plans to launch it this fall and has tons of unreleased tracks that we're excited to see unleashed on the Cobra dance floor.

Trust us on this one, we know you'll enjoy his infectious, techy tunes. Getting the party started will be Alex Jouin, a staple at our after parties and LikeLarry coming from Cleveland to make his Longturn debut.

Consider this your standing invite. Clock into the weekend: Cobra Lounge, every Saturday.

Longturn Music welcomes everybody and has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, unwelcome physical contact, or any brand of bigoted behavior. If anyone at a Longturn event is making you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or if you witness anything of the sort, we encourage you to speak with the door staff or our team members. We’ll believe you, and we’ll help.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.

Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.

Come early, stay late, dance hard ⚒️
