Thursday, July 18 | Doors 6pm | Program 7pm | Close 9pm
Join us for an evening of conversation between Samuel Stubblefield and Joshua Borsman, co-founders of OPEN Studio. From work on the 2019 Venice Biennale (an internationally renowned exhibition of art & culture) to an artist residency inside the Amazon Spheres that includes immersive sound installations, Sam and Josh are technologists as much as they are artists. Using robotics, algorithms, and the internet as mediums for exploration and invention, this duo experiments with artistic expression in truly unique ways.
This one-night-only gallery includes a brief fireside-style chat with the artists guided by our curator, Aaron Alcorn. Following the discussion, visitors will be able to explore our galleries in the Labs which will offer multiple interactive pieces, and both artists will be available to answer questions. Don’t miss the latest installment of our Living with Tech speaker series as we dive into the world of contemporary fine art with Sam and Josh.
