NET.ART WITH DANIELLE BRONSON

“Net.art,” describes an art movement beginning in the late 1980s and continuing into the early 2000s in which artists used the Internet as a medium. During this period, artists implemented emergent Internet technologies such as email, chat rooms, blogging platforms, and code to create a wide range of works.

This talk will be a brief overview of net.art’s history and an introduction to significant projects, themes, and ideas in the movement.
