Event Description

Listen Locally OUTSIDE!
with Jimmy Adler Band featuring Eric Spaulding on Sax

Sunday, May 16, 2021
7:00pm

It’s been a long, cold, lonely winter without live music at the Carnegie Carnegie but things are about to heat up! We’re kicking off Listen Locally OUTSIDE! with Jimmy Adler Band.

With 4 CDs to his credit, Pittsburgh-based blues guitarist and singer, Jimmy Adler has recorded many original songs that are steeped in the traditions of Chicago Blues, West-Coast Jazzy Jump, and other Americana traditions. His style is described as straight-ahead blues guitar – a blend of clean fat tones and raunchy slide guitar.   “Adler’s songs are superbly built … with frightening slide guitar effectiveness” (Blues & Co. Magazine, France).

Seating is limited. Tables and chairs will be distanced and preset by reservation in our parking lot so that you can enjoy the show with your pod. Masks are required at all times on our grounds, except when eating and drinking at your table. Public restrooms are available indoors. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food and beverage to enjoy during the concert – order takeout from one of many great Carnegie restaurants or pack a picnic!

Rain Date: Sunday, May 23rd at 7:00pm

Table reservations must be purchased in advance.

Appropriate for ages 12 & up

Questions? Contact Melanie Paglia at 412-276-3456 x6

Q: What if it rains?

A: If rain is a threat on the day of the performance we will reschedule for Sunday, May 23 at 7pm. We won’t leave you hanging, we will make the weather call no later than 2pm on Sunday. We will announce the new show time on our website and by email to ticket holders. If we’re doubly unlucky and unable to perform on Sunday, ticket holders may receive a refund or credit toward a future performance.

Q: What if I need to cancel my reservation?

A: If you’re not feeling well, please do not attend. Please call us prior to the event and we will issue you a refund of your ticket. We are unable to offer refunds after the event.

Q: Can I B my OB?

A: We aren’t able to offer complimentary food & beverage for this program, but we invite guests to bring their own. Order takeout from one of Carnegie’s great restaurants or pack a picnic!

Q: If we’re sitting in the parking lot, where do we park?

A: Very limited parking will be available in our parking lot on a first come, first served basis for guests with accessible parking placards. Free parking is available on Beechwood Avenue hill and on Main Street. Out of consideration to our neighbors, we encourage Music Hall patrons not to park in the residential areas of Beechwood Avenue or Home Street.
