Come along for a scenic trip on “Henry Ford’s Railroad” from Springfield, OH to Lima, OH. We will board in Springfield’s Snyder Park and travel north on the DT&I Middle Subdivision. Along the way we will travel through Thackery, Quincy, Rosewood, Maplewood, Jackson Center, and Uniopolis, Ohio. Just north of Quincy we will cross over the Great Miami River via “high bridge”, a highlight of our Lima Limited excursion. While in Lima passengers will be able to enjoy the railroad history on display at Lincoln Park and or travel via complimentary shuttle bus to the Allen County Historical Museum. Limited dining options are available within walking distance of Lincoln Park. At 140 miles round trip, this is our longest excursion and is enjoyable for passengers of all ages. We will have full concessions with a wide array of options available for purchase in our Queen City Tavern car.
