The Light of Seven Matchsticks

The Light of the Seven Matchsticks, “discretely" located beneath Natalie’s Coal-Fired Pizza and Live Music, asks you to step into a world gone by. With plush velvet seating, classic bar, and warm lights, you can almost hear the soft whispers of Prohibition-era Columbus and the rich history of the location and the people who have come before. 

The cost of purchasing your table or bar seats will be applied to your drink and food orders that evening (no refunds).  In the event of a canceled reservation, 100% will be refunded with a minimum 24 hour advance notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hour notice will result in a 50% refund. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these new waters. 

SPEAKEASY RULES

• Due to rising Covid-19 numbers, all guests (dining and concerts) will be required to present proof of full vaccination (card or photo), along with photo ID,  OR a valid negative Covid-19 test result 48 hours prior to entry.


• You cannot arrive early for your reservation


• Same day reservations cut off at 4:30 PM every day


• We can accommodate some walk-ins as well


• We only book 3 weeks in advance


• Come with those whose company you enjoy! (no cell phone service)


• While we love children, please leave them at home


• Politics, Religion & Sex are highly encouraged topics of conversation


• Be respectful
