Level 6 Improv Class: Ensemble

Level 6: Longform Ensemble

Prerequisite: You must have completed Level 5: Advanced Scenework at Curious Comedy Theater.

In this advanced class, students will apply their acquired skills to the Harold format. This original Chicago longform format was conceived as a tool to help an ensemble work together to create a dynamic and satisfying improvised show. The Harold remains a staple both for developing students and professional performers alike for a reason, making it a fitting and triumphant culmination of your Curious 6 Level Journey. You will learn how to not only navigate the Harold with excellence, but to be empowered by it.

All students will receive expert instruction on advanced scenework within the Harold format, along with personalized coaching and feedback for two class performances at Curious Comedy Theater in addition to participation in the Student Showcase.

The class will include 6 class rehearsals Mondays 8/28-10/02 from 7:00pm-9:30pm and 3 performances with coaching at Curious Comedy Theater.
