SATURDAY, MARCH 2, 2019
Last year, more than 500 people came out to show their Irish pride and support! This year, we are working to make this the biggest and best LepreCon Long Island ever with fun prizes and contests, all while helping two local charity organizations, St. Kilian Church Food Pantry and the Brian Moore Memorial Fund. So, dust off those lucky charms, shine up those boot buckles and get ready cause the beer will be flowing!
DETAILS:
LepreCon Long Island Irish Pride Bar Crawl will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 12PM on Main Street in Farmingdale at the villages best bars and eateries to raise money for St. Kilian Church Food Pantry and the Brian Moore Memorial Fund. With your official LepreCon Long Island ticket/wristband you will receive food and drink specials all day at all participating locations.
ALL LepreCon Long Island attendees are asked to dress in Irish Pride/green attire, either individually or in groups, so that Main Street in Farmingdale Village will be filled with Irish pride! Some ideas are a leprechaun, sexy Irish girls, funny Irish guys, lucky charms, or just anything green!
ALL LepreCon Long Island attendees must have a wristband to receive food and drink specials all day. Tickets for wristbands can be purchased in advanced online for $10, $15 and $20 limited quantities then at $25 or the day of the bar crawl at the registration point for $30.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- Purchase your ticket in advanced or the day of at The Nutty Irishman
- Dress up in your favorite Irish pride costume
- Get your wristband at the Nutty Irishman when you present your ticket
- Follow Lucky on Facebook and Instagram at LepreCon.Long.Island for alerts and updates
- Eat, Drink, Be Irish and CHEERS!
TICKETS:
Tickets are $10, $15 and $20 in advance in limited quantities then $25 with online sales closing on March 2nd at midnight. Advance ticket purchase is suggested. However you may also purchase a ticket at the registration point The Nutty Irishman for $30. Your ticket will score you the official LepreCon Long Island wristband allowing you access to awesome food & drink specials at all of the bars, all day Waived donation cover and waived after party cover. A portion of the proceeds from the bar crawl goes to the St. Kilian Church Food Pantry and the Brian Moore Memorial Fund. LepreCon Long Island Irish Pride Bar Crawl is for attendees 21 years and older.
**THERE WILL BE A $5.00 DONATION COVER AT EACH PARTICIPATING BAR FOR NON TICKET/WRISTBAND HOLDERS!**
WRISTBANDS:
PLEASE make sure you check in at the registration point The Nutty Irishman, by presenting your ticket/receipt to get your LepreCon Long Island wristband. Any excessive intoxication or rowdy behavior will result in the cutting off of your wristband. Participating locations have the right to refuse entry.
Your wristband will get you:
- Entry into all participating bars (granted capacity has not been reached)
- Food and drink specials from 12:00PM to 5:00PM
- Admission to the LepreCon Long Island after party at The Nutty Irishman (beginning at 4PM)
FOOD AND DRINK SPECIALS:
Feel free to create your own route or follow Lucky! All specials will be offered at all bars from 12PM to 5PM with specials continuing at the after party from 4PM to 9PM at The Nutty Irishman. Some bars may extend their specials past 5PM

COSTUME CONTEST:
To participate in the LepreCon Long Island costume contest, wear your best Irish pride costume. Our event staff will be on the lookout for the best! If you have one of the best, you will be given a ticket. Anyone who has received a ticket must be present at the official after party at The Nutty Irishman, to showcase your costume and announce the winner!
OFFICAL AFTER PARTY:
The fun doesn't stop after the bar crawl! Join us for the official after party at The Nutty Irishman. There will be drink specials, a live band, a DJ, a special performance, charity introduction, costume contest winner selection and more! Admission to the after party starts at 4PM
VOLUNTEERS:
We need you!!! Lucky is in need of some leprechauns to help at the event! As a volunteer, you get a free LepreCon Long Island wristband. To be an official volunteer and sign up, please email info@uniquebarcrawls.com
BRIAN MOORE MEMORIAL FUND:
Brian Moore, a 25-year-old New York City police officer from Massapequa, was shot in the head by an assailant while on duty in Queens on Saturday, May 2, 2015. Brian succumbed to his injuries on Monday, May 4, 2015. The mission of The Brian Moore Memorial Fund is to provide scholorships for deserving students and financial help for Police officers, Firefighters and Military personnel. ST. KILIAN CHURCH FOOD PANTRY
With the help of church officials, members,volunteers and the generosity of the community, volunteers work year-round to ensure the well being of the Farmingdale community. The food pantry has been able to provide hundreds of families with the necessary items they need to survive. The St. Kilian's food pantry accepts monetary and food donations at their parish outreach center, located at 485 Conklin Street, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You can find out more by clicking here

LepreCon Long Island Irish Pride Bar Crawl is a community event and encourages responsible drinking by attendees. DON'T DRINK and DRIVE! Assign a designated driver at the beginning of the day or use public transportation. Take the LIRR using the Ronkonkoma line getting off at the Farmingdale stop.

Take the LIRR using the Ronkonkoma line getting off at the Farmingdale stop, use local cabs or services such as Uber and Lyft.
