Saxophonist Lee Robinson is an accomplished musician from Pittsburgh, having performed worldwide for over 50 years. He blends his improvisational jazz rhythms with funk, fusion, original compositions, contemporary music, and classical influences.
Lee has collaborated with poets, actors, and visual artists, appeared as a street saxophonist in the movie "Cemetery Club," and composed the original score for the PBS documentary "JOBS: A Way Out." For the last 15 years, he has also served as the resident musician at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.
Lee’s group, ISKA, features some of the region's most innovative musicians, including:
Mark Leonard on drums
Joe DeFazio on keyboards
Michael Gudbaur on bass
