Iconic Divas Through Time is the vision of powerhouse performer LaDawn Taylor, whose mission is to remind today’s generation exactly where we “get it from!”

This unforgettable tribute features show-stopping performances of hits made famous by Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, En Vogue, and more. These trailblazing divas poured their truth into every note—songs filled with love, pain, joy, triumph, and the experience of being a woman. Get ready to feel something he can feel!

Produced by LaDawn Taylor, this high-energy concert brings together a roster of phenomenal artists from Broadway tours, Walt Disney World Resorts, international stages, and top institutions like NYU and Juilliard. LaDawn herself is a force to be reckoned with—a Houston native with a B.A. in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University and the first Black Princess Tiana for Walt Disney World and Disney International. Her theater credits include The Lion King(Hong Kong – Nala), Mickey and the Wondrous Book (Disneyland – Princess Tiana), Donna Summer: The Musical(Creative Team, Original Cast DIVA Donna – NCL), The Bodyguard (Nicki Marron), Little Shop of Horrors (Ronette), Rent (Joanne), and Memphis (Felicia). Her screen credits include Black-ish (ABC), The Good Fight, Godfather of Harlem, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
