La María-Rosario describes herself as, "I represent those who have music in their soul, be it salsa, rumba, mambo or flamenco; what matters is the taste and movement.  I represent a race of different colors that blend to make us transparent.  I am the living example of my people " ~ Lou Briel

La María-Rosario will offer you a tantalizing night of romance and energy.  La María will be accompanied by the Latin jazz group Son Borikua, under the direction of Manny Perez and many other local musicians.

Who is La María?  María Rosario-Cala was born and raised in the Enchanted Island of Puerto Rico under the name of María Del Rosario Seijo Ortiz. Her childhood nickname was Charito.  She is a Spaniard/Portuguese and Taino Indians descendent, natives of the island of Puerto Rico.

María is also a normal person!  She has been working with the Buffalo Public Schools since 2004.  Currently, she is an Assistant Principal at Herman Badillo Bilingual Academy, BPS76, where she proudly serves children from Hispanic and many other origins.  In addition to being a teacher at heart and a passionate school administrator determined to make a difference in Buffalo, Maria enjoys producing and directing musical performances where she sings and dances with her students and teachers of Latin and many other heritages and traditions.

Patio seating is fully refundable in the event that there is rain during the show

Ticket price (per person) includes: Pre-paid food/drinks - $25 per person / 20% gratuity / 8.75% sales tax / Pre-paid music show (per person) as follows: Music Room seating $15/ Bar & TV Room seating $10/ Patio Tables $10 / No sales tax is added to the music charge - all revenue from the music show ticket goes to the musicians.

We no longer take online or text orders in advance. Service will be privided on a frist come basis.

Early arrival is highly recommended in order to avoid the 7pm rush and prolonged waiting time.
