ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Krystofer Maison (he/they) is a classically-trained pop/rock singer, songwriter, and producer based in New York City. His dramatic performance style is informed by years in the theatre, the androgynous rock performers of the '80s, and current avant-garde icons like Lady Gaga. Krystofer is known for his soaring range, precision vocal control, unabashed comedy between songs, and versatility in programming to often include pop, rock, theatre, and activism in the same show - always bringing audiences on a memorable journey. And with over a decade-long career in nonprofit partnerships, they are intentional about building community in every space, from Drom NYC, Pianos, and The Green Room 42 to TD Garden and Citi Field. Krystofer’s released his newest EP, MAKE A SCENE, in March of 2024. Recorded with powerhouse producers at Invite Only Studios in NYC, the record is a theatrical journey of self-discovery in four acts, and marks the beginning of a series of exciting projects over the next year. Krystofer released his debut EP Libera Me in 2021, with 3 songs with undertones from the classic requiem, set to the queer experience. In 2022, Krystofer wrote, performed, and produced the track "Fly," the signature song for the short film "Blackbird" focused on mental health. They also serve as a member of the Board of Advisors of PROJECT BLACKBIRD, a nonprofit organization formed alongside the film to shed the shame of disordered eating and addiction. Krystofer is currently in development of his first studio album. In June 2023, Krystofer produced, managed, and headlined Pride at The Park at Park Avenue Church — named a Best 2023 Pride Month Event by Time Out NYC. The large-scale fundraiser concert supported the organization's aid of transgender folks seeking asylum, featured over ten queer performers, and was sponsored by Diageo and Coca-Cola. He also works on new TV, film, and immersive properties with production partners like Victoria Cheri Bennett (“Beverages with Bevin”) and Singer Studios in London.
