Kingdom of Giants (early show)

Kingdom of Giants

Julian Perez (guitar), Max Bremer (guitar), Levi Norris (bass), Dana Willax (vocals), Red Martin (guitar) and Truman Berlin (drums) make up the six-piece metalcore band, Kingdom of Giants. Signed to InVogue Records, Kingdom of Giants hails from California and was formed in 2011. Since their formation, Kingdom of Giants has taken the stage with the bands Volumes, Fit For A King and I, The Breather. The band released their latest eleven-track, album, “All The Hell You’ve Got To Spare,” on March 3 of 2017.

“It would indeed be a shame for the group to fade into the sea of mediocre crap that other bands are more than content to thrive in, because it’s blatantly obvious that Kingdom of Giants refuse to be ignored and will be heard. This resilience literally dripped off their last full length and was pervasive and infective, a pure ‘soundtrack to a revolution.’” – Sputnik Music.

Currents

Signed to SharpTone Records, Currents is a metalcore band from Connecticut. Comprised of Brian Wille (vocals), Jeff Brown (drums), Chris Wiseman (guitar), Ryan Castaldi (guitar) and Dee Cronkite (bass). Currents released their album entitled “The Place I Feel Safest” on June 16, 2017.

“This record is a fantastic listen if you're after a perfect blend of crushing breakdowns and technical riffs. Currents are one to watch, and another strong name in SharpTone's roster, a label slowly building up one of the best collections of new bands in the scene, including bands like Holding Absence and Loathe alongside Currents.” – (Sputnik Music).

“Currents are not only a band to watch, but they are also a band that with ‘The Place I Feel The Safest’ show that they have the skills and passion that could change the whole metalcore genre over the next few years. A stunning debut by a band that are destined for great things.” – Dave Griffths (Heavy Magazine).

Afterlife

Afterlife is an alternative metal band from West Palm Beach, Florida, for fans of Slipknot, Sworn In and Korn. Signed to Stay Sick Recordings, Afterlife is made up of Tyler Levenson (vocals), Andrew McGuire (guitar), Luke Walkinshaw (drums) and Sinin Ables (bass). The band’s EP, “Vicious Cycle,” was released on February 3 and has since gathered countless, positive reviews.

“There are a lot of reasons Afterlife’s name is fitting; the least of which being it an apt representation of the band’s current iteration in reference to their past. ‘Vicious Cycle’ is a visceral and hard-hitting release that doesn’t skimp on catchiness or aggression—combining contemporary production and experience with time-tested, tried-and-true nu, the reason Afterlife’s name might be so fitting is because when they’re done with the listener, that’s exactly where they’ll be.” – Connor Welsh (New Transcendence).
