2021 Kick-Off Rallye

$75 Entry Fee per team includes your spot in the Rallye and meal for driver and navigator at Smokey Bones.

Our Kick-Off Rallye is truly the kick-off event of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix as it occurs one week before Race Week. The competition consists of a combined Monte Carlo/Gimmick format requiring no prior experience.  Multiple checkpoints are located early along the route and are shown in the route instructions with approximate mileage and the time that the vehicle is due to cross the timing line.  Stopping or slowing prior to the control is permitted as long as safely done. 

Questions pertaining to observations made along the route are interspersed among the instructions which require a complete understanding of the rules in order to successfully answer the questions and receive no additional penalty points.  The combination of checkpoint timing errors and question penalty points are totaled for the final score. No experience is necessary, just have fun and help raise funds for our charities.

Rallye starts and ends at Smokey Bones at Pittsburgh Mills. Your entry fee includes a sandwich, chips and cookie.

The driving portion of the Kick-Off Rallye starts at 11:30 am with cars leaving every 60 seconds. It takes approximately 3 hours to complete the Rallye. The course you will take is a secret and instructions will be supplied during the driver's meeting at 11:00 am.
