In 1914, after some difficulty, Harry Kissell was able to purchase part of the historic Grube Farm, which became the northernmost part of his Ridgewood development later that July. This area quickly filled with middle to upper-middle class families eager to build suburban retreats. Join us as we explore the assorted architecture of this historic enclave, popularly known as The Kensingtons. Meet outside of 30 South Kensington Place.
