Junior Garden Buds: Cosmetics

Kids ages 5 - 10 and their grown-ups are invited to the Frick Environmental Center for this free garden-themed event. Learn about cosmetics through the public garden at the Center and take part in activities such as making plantain leaf healing balm.

Junior Garden Buds is a program based around our From Slavery to Freedom Garden. The garden coincides with Heinz History Center’s From Slavery to Freedom exhibit. Explore new things and get to know different parts of a garden and what they can be used for at these monthly events.
