From CONAN to Comedy Central, LA’s Alana Johnston and Mo Welch are stepping off the screen and on to the stage for a special comedy event at Curious Comedy Theater! This brand new theatrical double-feature is a mash-up of comedy mixed with music and a little bit of immersive art all in one insane night of fun. See what people are calling, “What did I just watch?”


Mo Welch is an LA based comedian, actress, writer and cartoonist. Mo’s book How To Die Alone: The Foolproof Guide To Not Helping Yourself Featuring Blair was released in 2019 by Workman Publishing and is based on her Instagram comic strip Blair which has over 115k followers.

She sold and developed a TV pilot version of BLAIR at HBO Max with Chelsea Handler producing. Mo has performed on Conan and wrote on staff for Good Talk With Anthony Jeselnik. Mo’s podcast Come Out, Come Out was released through Audible in December.

Her comics have been published in The New Yorker, Cosmopolitan Magazine,Vice and elsewhere. Her other on-screen credits include Corporate (Comedy Central), Life In Pieces (CBS) and Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street (Amazon).

Alana Johnston is an actress, sketch performer and writer from Toronto, Canada. Alana was the host of "I Want My Phone Back" for Facebook/College Humor and a series regular on the Disney XD cartoon "Right Now KaPow." She has also appeared on shows such as “Conan” on TBS, “Earth to Ned” on Disney Plus, “My Least Favorite Thing” on Comedy Central, “Comedy Bang Bang" and "Birthday Boys" for IFC, "Adam Ruins Everything" for TruTV, "BLAIR" for TBS Online. She was also the creator/star of her own pilot "Alana is Available" for Comedy Central, “I Got This” for Just For Laughs and "Cousins" for Bell Media Canada. Alana is the host of the “Self Esteem Party” podcast available on the Sonar Network. Her comedic pop album, also named "Self Esteem Party" is available on iTunes.
