With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians.  

What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space.

Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

From rocking the mic as a kid (yeah, he was crowned “Class Clown” back in 5th grade) to rocking stages across Southern California, Johnny has been serving up laughs nonstop. Whether it’s a packed comedy club, a wild casino crowd, a Marine Corps Birthday Ball, or even opening for Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Johnny knows how to light up any room he steps into.


Known for his high-energy, real-life storytelling, Johnny brings the funny with tales of family chaos, food obsessions, cultural moments, and life as a husband, dad, DJ, and proud big guy. His comedy hits home because it’s real—sharp, hilarious, and straight from his world to yours.


Since launching HAIRlarious Comedy & Entertainment in 2013, Johnny’s been doing it all: producing, hosting, headlining, DJing, booking, and even officiating weddings (because yes, he’ll make you laugh and say “I do”). He’s built shows that keep the Inland Empire and San Diego buzzing, curating unforgettable nights packed with nonstop laughs and good vibes.
