Jay Bolotin: "The Darktown Sermons"

- Details
Kentucky native Jay Bolotin is a renaissance artist; a maker equally at home crafting outlaw country music and stories as he is creating otherworldly creatures carved from woodblocks, then masterfully animating them into being. With The Darktown Sermons, he constructs an evening of song and moving pictures. Bolotin will share the stage with an animated Preacher (voice of Will Oldham, aka, Bonnie Prince Billy), recently descended from a revelatory visit to heaven, now wandering about town to hear the origin story of each song.
