Event Description

Generously sponsored by East Street Beer. Cheers to that!

--------------------------------------------

For this month’s happy hour networking event, the Northside Chamber invites you to a beer tasting! A virtual event but REAL BEER, six of them in fact, curated as part of a custom tasting event!

For the event, Brooke Franus, owner of Stewards of Beer (a Northside-based company), will take you through the steps of tasting beer and will then lead you through tasting all 6 beers.

This highly engaging happy hour, generously sponsored by East Street Beer, will invite you to use all of your senses as we swirl, sniff, and sip our way through six different beer styles from malty to hoppy and everything in between. You’ll also learn how to describe what you’re seeing, smelling, and tasting and may even find a new favorite.

--------------------------------------------

How will I get the beers?
The curated six-pack for the event will be available for pickup from the Northside Chamber office during the week of the event (March 22-25).

Can I participate with my partner or friend?
Yes, in fact we encourage it! Six beers is a lot for one person, so the event is perfect for multiple people at one location.

What is the cost?
For members of the Northside Chamber, the cost is $18 per ticket. For non-members, the cost is $25 per ticket. Note: If multiple people are splitting a six-pack and/or watching on one screen, only one ticket needs to be purchased.

What is Stewards of Beer?
Stewards of Beer is a local Pittsburgh-based craft beer promotion and education company owned by a husband and wife team of North Side residents. Their team of knowledgeable and passionate craft beer enthusiasts, avid homebrewers, taptenders, Cicerone Program® Certified Beer Servers, and Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) Certified Beer Judges conducts regular sampling events at grocery stores, beer distributors, and bars throughout the city in an attempt to educate people about several international, national, and local craft brewery brands. They also lend support to many local beer fests and other beer-centric events, often working behind the scenes to ensure a great experience for attendees.
