Introduction to Birch Bark Basketry

Indigenous Perspective Workshop Birch Bark Basketry with Instructor Natalie Pepin!

Participants in our Introduction to Birch Bark Basketry Workshops will embark on a guided walk around the Indigenous Peoples Experience trails and then will learn to create a birch bark basket while being led in discussions and storytelling. Participants will walk away knowing more about the relationship between culture, the land, and the arts.

The workshop ultimately lays a foundation for which to view and relate to Indigenous arts in the future.
