Event Description

The Curtis Institute of Music presents an immersive performance experience based on Rimsky-Korsakov’s enchanting Scheherazade. Filmed with 26 cameras and presented in 4K, audiences are invited to experience the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Osmo Vänskä, surrounded by large scale projections, and live performance from members of the orchestra.

Immersive Scheherazade is a limited-time artistic exhibition open to the public with advance registration. Showings will take place from April 29May 15, with 1-hour sessions restarting on the top of the hour from 2-5 p.m. each day.

The safety of performers, audience, and staff is our highest priority. All events adhere to our COVID-19 safety protocols. Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and ID must be shown for admittance. Although no longer required, masks are still encouraged on Curtis's campus.

Select your preferred date from the calendar, and pick a time from the drop down menu to complete your registration.
