International Migratory Bird Day at Frick Park

Join naturalists from the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History for International Migratory Bird Day! Whether you're a seasoned bird watcher, or just starting out, we welcome you to this full day of bird-related activities.

International Migratory Bird Day Events 

• Bird banding throughout the morning 


• Bird walks lef by ornithologists and naturalists


• Screening of the movie The Messenger at noon, followed by a question and answer discussion 

Some native plants will be available to take home to start your own bird-friendly habitat at home!
