ill.Gates:
As one of the forefathers of modern Bass music, Vancouver-based producer has ill..GATES earned a distinction as both innovator and inspiration for passionate music enthusiasts around the globe.

Emerging from Toronto, Dylan Gates found fame early on behind dynamic dance floor bangers and a keen sense of direction as a producer and Sonic curator. As a teenager, he quickly amassed fame behind extended releases, remixes and collaborations with contemporaries An-ten-ae, Beats Antique, David Starfire, Liquid Stranger, KJ Sawka, Clozee and Vibesquad. ill.Gates has headlined festivals around the world, culling eclectic gatherings of listeners at events like Burning Man & Shambhala.

In 2016, Gates found his true calling as a musician; molding generations to come via his Producer Dojo, an organization dedicated to cultivating discipline and long term success for producers. With the mantra of ‘launching 1000 music careers,’ the Producer Dojo provides the tools for young artists to create their own online business, sell samples and release on the Dojo label.

After moving to L.A. in 2018, ill.Gates set his sights on and accomplished building an empire of creatives ready to take on a constantly evolving music world. With that established, and 15+ years of punk, cultured experience, ill.Gates looks to release an album in late 2021 that builds on his long term success developing the rise in Bass culture.

Mr. Bill:
Mr. Bill has been a leader in the audio production world for years. Beyond producing dazzlingly intricate originals, remixes, and collaborations with other stars of theindustry, his eagerness to share his massive library of technical know-how has madehim just as sought-after for studio work as he is for highly energetic and crowd-pleasing live performances.

Mr. Bill has toured North America and Australia with a live drummer, supported Beats Antique on multiple U.S. tours, and has played major festivals around the world. He scored the Nicolas Cage horror-comedy MOM AND DAD, and his techno side project Electrocado was signed to deadmau5’ mau5trap label for a multiple EP contract. Mr.Bill released his IDM album, Apophenia also on mau5trap, as well as the collab “10.8” with deadmau5 featuring an epic animated video by Bill’s longtime artist, Funilab. Mr.Bill also released a collaborative EP with Esseks,Dead Language on Ganja White Night’s Subcarbon label, releases and collaborations on Deadbeats and Wakaan, and released a series of heavy bass EPs for Dirt Monkey’s 19K label. He is also performing special collaborative sets with ill.Gates and kLL sMTH as Mr. Bill.Gates and kLL Bill, respectively.

This year, he self-released his magnum opus and spiritual sequel to Apophenia, Phantasmagoria, which features The Widdler, Sorrow, Skope, and more. He is the host of The Mr. Bill Podcast with guests like deadmau5, Steve Duda,Subtronics, Virtual Riot, Misha Mansoor (Periphery), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater),and YouTube sensation Andrew Huang—available everywhere you get podcasts.
