AX 2025 - Idol Summer Escape Photo-Op Drawing

New to Anime Expo! Step into the dazzling world of idols from around the globe in this exclusive, up-close experience! Enjoy live performances, immerse yourself in the excitement of wotagei, and indulge in a specially curated food, drink, and dessert menu. Each night will feature a different line up with up to 5 solo idols and idol units!

Photo-Op Structure

Each night, a limited amount of Photo-Ops will be taken, divided into two tiers:

· Tier 1 Solo Photo-Op ($45): A small group of individual attendees will be taking a solo Photo-Op with all performing idols of the night.

· Tier 2 Group Photo-Op ($30): Limited groups of a total of 7 attendees will be taking a group Photo-Op with all performing idols of the night.

Photo Ops will be time sensitive to a specific portion of programming. Do not be late, do not overextend time slots.

Photo-Op Drawing Process

Due to the very limited quantity of Photo-Op vouchers, we will be hosting a randomized drawing for our Idol Summer Escape attendees who have submitted their interest via an application. This provides all attendees with a fair opportunity to receive a Photo-Op voucher instead of the first-come, first-serve process.

Attendees with a valid Idol Summer Escape ticket may apply to enter a randomized drawing to purchase a Photo-Op voucher. Only selected winners of the drawing will be able to purchase the Photo-Op voucher they were selected for.

How it works:

Step 1: Submit your interest in purchasing a Photo-Op voucher using the free Photo-Op submission link above.

• One submission per person, if an order has multiple tickets, then each attendee in that order who is interested in purchasing a Photo-Op will need to submit their own application

Step 2: Await for the winner selection, those selected as winners will be notified via email

• Not everyone on an order will be selected (ex: if there is an order with 4 attendees and only 1 attendee won, then only the person who got selected may participate in the Photo-Op not all the attendees on the order)

Step 3: Winners will purchase their Photo-Op vouchers following the instructions provided in the winner email.

• Failure to purchase Photo-Op voucher within the designated deadline forfeits their spot

Drawing Rules

• No purchase is necessary to submit a drawing entry.


• Eligibility: All participants must have a valid Idol Summer Escape event ticket to enter the drawing. 


• The drawing selection is random.


• Winners do not receive a free Photo-Op.


• If selected, drawing winners understand they will have the opportunity to purchase a Photo-Op based on the category awarded.


• Upon notification, winners will have one (1) week to redeem their code and purchase the Photo-Op awarded.


• Failure to purchase the awarded Photo-Op within the designated deadline forfeits their right to participate in the awarded Photo-Op.


• Awarded Photo-Op is valid only for the winning participant. If the winner is unable to participate, then the Photo-Op is automatically forfeited. 


• Awarded Photo-Ops cannot be transferred to other show dates.


• All sales are final for Photo-Op purchases.  No refunds for missed shows.

Ticketing Policy

To participate in this event you must have:

• An Anime Expo attendee badge valid for the day of show AND


• A ticket for admission at the door

General Admission Ticket Refund Policy

All sales are final. There are no refunds for late arrivals or missed shows.

General Admission Ticket Exchange Policy

You can exchange your Idol Summer Escape ticket to a different Idol Summer Escape show, based on availability, by sending an email to registration@anime-expo.org on or before June 20th, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT.

Photo-Op Refund and Exchange Policy

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges of a Photo-Op voucher. Please ensure that if you are submitting interest for a Photo-Op session, that you are applying for the correct night you will be attending the show. There are no exchanges.
