Event Description
Iceman 3000 by MamLuft&Co. Dance

Iceman 3000 is a new Modern Dance work with original sound composition and sculpture, presented in conjunction with the installation Deep North by Chris Larson as part of his larger exhibition Function Is Redundant at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC). Iceman 3000 is presented by MamLuft&Co. Dance in partnership with the CAC and will be presented amongst Chris Larson's exhibition on the fifth floor gallery of the Contemporary Arts Center.

Choreographer Susan Honer and sculpture artist/composer Sean Simon re-imagine the story of a 5,300-year-old mummified "ice man" (named Ötzi, discovered in the Austrian alps in 1991), in the year 3000 A.D.

Iceman 3000 is made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, ArtsWave, and the Ohio Arts Council.
