Hudson River Harvest Concert one SPAIN

This year Four Nations will wrap its programs around the masterful works of Couperin, The Nations.  Each program will begin with one of the four trio sonatas and then spotlight the music from that nation.  For our first we begin with L'Espagnole (Spain) and illustrate with Domenico Scarlatti's late Salve Regina and a guitar quintet with its fiery fandango of Luigi Boccherini. All works intensely passionate...like a summer's night in Seville.
