2019 Hot Chocolate 15K / 5K San Francisco

Notice for all runners driving to the race:  We recommend you use the San Francisco State Parking Lot.  As most of you know the parking at Golden Gate Park is extremely limited and use of the SF State lot will be the best way to get to the race on time.  There is limited capacity at this lot, so purchase your parking and shuttle passes now.

There are also shuttle options from Union Square, Emeryville and Millbrae, see details below.

All routes have finite capacity and may sell out, purchase your shuttle pass now to guarantee race transportation. All shuttle options are round-trip service.

Music Concourse Garages (Golden Gate Park) will NOT be available

San Francisco State Shuttle:

SF State Parking Garage is located at State Drive and Lake Merced Blvd. Parking pass is $12.00. Please note that each rider will need a shuttle pass as well.

Each person needs a shuttle pass to get on the bus. Parking pass is good for parking only!  SF State Parking Directions

 Union Square Shuttle:

Shuttles will be available from Union Square, picking up on Post St. adjacent to the Westin St. Francis. This is an ideal option for all runners and spectators staying at  Union Square hotels.

South Bay / Peninsula Shuttle:

Millbrae Park and Ride

Shuttles will be available from Millbrae Park and Ride for $25.00 per person. Parking is free at Millbrae Park & Ride station on Sundays. Millbrae park and ride location.  

East Bay Shuttle:

Emeryville Park and Ride

Shuttles are available from Emeryville. The pickup will be at the Amtrak Station. Pick-up Location. Cost for the shuttle will be $25.00 and will bring riders to and from an area close to the start line. Please note, your Shuttle Ticket does not include parking at the Train Station parking lot, parking is separate.

There will be no Civic Center Shuttle this year, please use the Union Square shuttle.

5K  START TIME 7:20 AM

15K START TIME 8:10 AM

SHUTTLES WILL BEGIN AT 5 AM AND WILL RUN CONTINUOUSLY UNTIL NOON. IF NECESSARY SHUTTLES WILL CONTINUE AFTER NOON TO ACCOMMODATE RUNNERS.
