Hometown Habitat Screening & Benefit

Join us for a special event to benefit the Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC), working to protect and enhance the natural resources of Cape Cod. Doors will open at 6PM for a meet and greet, light hors d’oeuvres, and cash bar. Screening will follow at 7PM. 

Hometown Habitat, just released in April, is an environmental education documentary focused on showing how and why native plants are critical to the survival and vitality of local ecosystems. Entomologist Doug Tallamy's research sounds the alarm about habitat and species loss, but also carries the hopeful message that each individual has the power to conserve resources, restore habitat for wildlife, and bring beauty to their patch of earth. (Not Rated, 90 mins.)
