Event Description

Explore nature at the Elizabethan Gardens with your homeschool student this Fall. Homeschool Mornings offer school-age children the opportunity to participate in self-guided learning activities at various stations throughout the Gardens. Each month your child can discover a new science-based theme that takes them on a journey to investigate plants, the forest, and the environment.

Homeschool Mornings and associated activities are recommended for children ages 6-11 (Kindergarten to 5th grade). Program includes price of admission and a grade-specific, self-guided curriculum packet your child can complete while touring. There are a limited number of spots for each program and drop-in program attendees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Biodiversity in the Forest: September 5th and 19th

Plant and Animal Adaptations: October 3rd and 17th

Winter Hibernation: November 7th and 21st
