Holiday Mansion Tours, November 30th- December 28th, 2025

Experience Lyndhurst Mansion transformed into an extravagant wonderland of holiday splendor.  Lyndhurst goes all-out during the holiday season, filling the mansion with elaborate tableaus that change every year. Dozens of Christmas trees are expertly decorated and designed to complement the elegant period furnishings within the rooms of the house. During this month, our curators choose rarely seen items belonging to Lyndhurst’s former residents for a once-a-year opportunity to highlight many glittering possessions usually tucked away in our archives.

Hour-long tours are offered between 10 am and 3 pm and visit the two main two floors of the Mansion. 

Holiday Mansion Tours discuss history, architecture, and art, and may not be entertaining to young children. Families are encouraged to attend our  Roam-on-your-Own Weekend, where visitors can walk through the Mansion without a guided tour. 

New This Year: Museums for All!

• Tickets for the Classic Mansion Tour are $5 per person for you and your family with your EBT card! The $5 admission price is for up to 4 people per EBT card.


• Buy your ticket online with the EBT/SNAP ticket designation.


• You MUST present your EBT card at the Welcome Center to be placed on the tour. If you cannot present your card, you will be required to pay in full for the tour.

Please be advised that this tour requires long periods of standing and flights of stairs. 

A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out. 

Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed. 

Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.

Check-in at the Welcome Center.

All ticket purchases are non-refundable.

A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have a Tour or Event Ticket. 

Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

No large bags, backpacks or strollers allowed in the mansion.
