Hailing from Memphis, Henry Coleman grew up using his nerdy passions, sharp wit and smart sarcasm to make people laugh. While doing an oral dissertation on a Dean Knootz novel, which he found “boring,” he decided to make it hilarious. He began to perform at all the local open mics, and in 2001 he performed for the world-famous Apollo Theater, hosted by comedian Rudy Rush. Since then he has been seen on MTV, BET and HBO’s All Def Comedy.
